People can be confused and apprehensive about posting on eBay as a seller even if they have been buying items on eBay for quite some time. Here are some steps to get you ready to sell items on eBay with no hesitation.
First, you have to open an account. This is easy. Just go to eBay website. If you have an email account, it is fine. Otherwise open one. If you have email account and then PayPal account it is almost done.
The next step is what you want to sell. That you should decide. First, you must start by selling your own things. Just pick up some thing around which is useless for you and try to sell it through eBay. You should get a practice.
Click the sell tab and follow the prompts. Give a title to the item and describe it. Use all the space provided and give elaborate details and description provoking interest and enthusiasm for the buyer. Even the title should be highly creative and fine.
Then comes the starting prize. You can have for the first auction between0. 01$ to 0.99$ depending on the type of item you have announced for sale. Then comes the duration. The longer it stays the better for you.
For bid style listing it’s better to set the auction duration at 7 days. Next, you will pick the places you are willing to ship to. New sellers should stick to only shipping within their own country. Once all of the information is filled in, submit your item for sale.
Then wait. Thousands of buyers will see your item. You can wait till the last minute of your specified time. In between there may be so many questions on your title and item. Answer as quickly as possible and it can even be posted so that you avoid answering the same question again.
It may fail. Be prepared for that and do not get frustrated. You can again post and see your luck. Sometimes it is not done in the first attempt.

It can definitely be unnerving to wake up one day as an eBay power seller, login to your account only to find that you account has been suspended. This happens and is more common than we think. The message “Not a registered user” flashes in front of you totally disorienting you. What makes it even more unnerving is that your buyers or anyone dealing with you will also receive notification that you have been suspended.
The fact that others can see that you are no longer authorized by eBay to transact business on their website is embarrassing to say the least. In the event that a customer has already purchased an item from you and the goods are enroute, there is the obvious danger that the customer will dispute that transaction and do a chargeback on their bank card or credit card.
How can this be avoided? The best way to avoid being suspended as an eBay registered user is to ensure you are clear in your understanding as far as eBay’s rules and regulations. Usually it is a violation of one or more of the critical rules and regulations that gets one suspended from eBay. It is not uncommon for someone to get excited about making money on eBay, go over to the site and sign in without paying much attention to the rules and regulations page.
