Ebay is a great place to make some quick cash with stuff around the house but for many it can turn into a full time job that brings in great money. Aside from the way you bid and how to actually navigate the website Ebay Feedback is the most important feature to master.

Ebay feedback profiles consists of a few primary elements:

The feedback score is the most obvious manifestation of how well your doing as far as being a good seller or buyer. This number is calculated by taking the total number of positive feedbacks you’ve had and minusing the total number of negative feedbacks. Also you’ll get a little star symbol next to your name depending on how your doing as a visual so people can easily tell how you are.

feedback percentage. This number is very similar to the feedback score. Its the total number of users who have had transactions with them divided by the number of users who have had good experiences with them. For example, a feedback percentage of 96 tells us that 96 out of 100 transactions that were followed through with by this member have made their trading partner happy.

You will either love or hate the feedback report depending on if people like you or not. The feedback report gives you all the specifics about your feedbacks. It includes comments, compliments, criticisms and the names and ID’s of all the people you’ve done business with. You’ll need to make sure this is good as many people will be checking to see how others have dealt with you.

It is absolutely crucial that you keep your feedback score high by providing timely and quality customer service or by paying for the item you buy at the appointed price at the right time or sooner. Having a low feedback score will hamper your efforts to make money with ebay.
