1. Products price below $10

Products price below $10 is sounds like a great idea and easy to sell. But shipping fee is the big issue; it may cost more than the item itself. This can be very off-putting to buyers; they may be being able to get cheaper at their local store. For small items and accessories, the way to solve this issue by grouping the items together, such as sets of golf-balls.

2. Products everyone else are selling

Many sellers think that best way to get started on eBay is to sell hot selling products on eBay like ipods, cell phones, and laptop. No, No, No The sellers who selling these items are more establish and their prices will always be better because they buy wholesale stock in larger bulks than you will. They have their good reputation and trusted by buyers. You will very difficult for you to make well profits in this market.

3. Things you love but not the buyer

Many sellers think that find a product that is wonderful new and it may be could next best trend in the market. To create a trend, you have to do a lot of lonely work to educate people on the benefits of the products. To market this product, you need magazines, newspaper and word of mouth to build awareness to the market.

4. Difficult ship items - e.g. plants, flowers

Although these items can be selling well on eBay, I don’t suggest for a new seller who first starting business on eBay. These items have an above-average shipping risk, particularly if not packed suitably. As a new seller, any bad negative feedback could damage your business on eBay.

5. Large items

Are you thinking selling furniture or door? I don’t suggest selling these items unless you already have experience selling and shipping these large items. Shipping is the major work for these items. It might be wise to start with small items which selling more often on eBay
